Caer Ravensong is a family tradition coven established by musicians and partners, Sandy Gunn and Sylvia Mann in 2007.
We have worked together as musicians since 2002 and became partners in January 2006.

Sandy Gunn

Sandy's first teacher of the Craft was Scots-Gaelic/Pennsylvania Dutch family traditional. She also studied many Wiccan and fam trad magickal traditions, and became an initiate/priestess of the Roebuck in 2001. Sandy and Sylvia have based their own coven tradition based on northern European shamanic traditions.

Sandy has been a professional musician since the age of 13 when she began her music career as a folksinger in the 50s. She is a songwriter & lyricist and plays keyboards, guitar, Celtic harp and clarinet.

Sylvia Lee Mann

Sylvia has studied the traditions of her ethnic background for many years, including Nordic, Native American, Celtic mythology and magick.

She is a composer, conductor and virtuoso performer. She is currently Director of Music at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City, Conductor and Music Director of the West Covina Symphony Orchestra, assistant conductor of the Bellflower Symphony Orchestra and principal violist of the Golden State Pops Symphony Orchestra and Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra, all in southern California. She composes music for film and theatre productions as well as symphonic and choral works.

Sylvia plays viola, violin, piano, keyboards, a bit of Celtic harp, guitar and flute
